Read 20 is a public-private partnership promoting literacy skills for early childhood in an effort to create a community of readers, and in support of Hamilton County’s community literacy goals.
Hamilton County’s Early Childhood Literacy Program – Read 20 is a public private partnership registered in the state of Tennessee. All contributions made to Read 20 are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by federal law. For more information, contact Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga.

Donate Funds
Read 20 have an agreement with several publishers to receive discounts on new books. Therefore, your financial donations go further toward promotion of early childhood literacy. Consider designation of your donation to purchasing books for the children of Hamilton County.

Donate Gently Loved Books or Organize a Book Drive – We will be happy to get you started.

Volunteer
Last year, an estimated 131 volunteers spent 158 hours sorting /packing books, reading to children, and promoting Read 20 by giving books to children. Read 20 would appreciate your time and effort in contributing time to the movement of “Creating a Community of Readers”.
